Ein Mikrofonkabel ist ein Standard-XLR-Kabel – beide Begriffe werden synonym benutzt. Der Preisunterschied, den Du entdeckt hast, gründet sich vermutlich auf unterschiedliche Qualität und länge.
Bei einem Mikrofonkabel lohnt es sich, noch mehr auf eine geringe Kabelkapazität zu achten, vor allem bei längeren Strecken. Das bedingt dann ein dickeres Kabel. Außerdem ist die mechanische Ausführung bei einem guten robuster. Für symmetrische Line-Level-Strecken, auf denen keiner rumhampelt, tun es aber dünnere, weniger robuste und billigere Kabel auch.
